Abstract:
PURPOSE: To smoothly perform the communication of intention with an opposite side spot or work at a device for preparing an interactive space with the feeling of communication with the opposite side for which the conditions of a light source are matched.
CONSTITUTION: At a user interface 101 for pictorial communication terminal, information concerning the light source of a space, where a user exists, is detected by a light source information detection part 102 and light source information 190 is sent to the opposite side spot and a light source information analysis part 103. The light source information analysis part 103 decides the position or characteristic of the light source for the background to be generated from light source information 191 of the opposite side spot and the light source information 190 of the present spot and generates synthetic light source information 192 to a background image generation part 104. According to the synthetic light source information 192, the background image generation part 104 sets illumination or the characteristic of the light source, generates a background image 193 and sends it to a visual information synthesizing part 106. At the visual information synthesizing part 106, an image 180 sent from the opposite side spot is synthesized with the background image 193, and a synthesized image 181 is generated to a display part 111.
