To provide an area-limited service network in which a service provider is enabled to save home delivery costs or advertisement costs and a service user is enabled to acquire information or articles closely related to lives or areas easily at low cost by enabling information for an area-limited service to be transmitted and received only between contractors while utilizing an environment of connection to an open network like Internet.

A user limited network system includes: an area-limited network 2 connected through a leased line 23 to a user-non-limited open network 1; a plurality of terminals 3 connected to the area-limited network 2; means provided for each terminal for connection to the open network and for authentication of area-limited service contractors; and a server 4 connected either to the open network or to the area-limited network for exchanging information for area-limited services with a terminal comprising the contractor authentication means while using the means for connection to the open network.
