Abstract:

To provide a user operation assisting instrument and its method wherein a user can select and execute only a viable task to contents in accordance with the contents to be used by the user and connection status of a device in a network.

A plurality of devices wherein type of contents which can be treated is specified, a management means which stores a data file for management which can specify that a plurality of the devices can treat which contents, and a combination display means which displays combination of a plurality of the devices and contents which can be treated with the devices are installed. Further, a task extraction means which extracts a viable task when the user utilizes a selected content, and a user interface display means which displays user interface which is used in order to execute the extracted task are installed.
