Abstract:
To provide a non-transitory computer readable medium utilizing an audio device used to stimulate and improve speech sound differentiation in infants, preterm infants, and/or premature infants using oro-motor responses.SOLUTION: One aspect of the present disclosure is a non-transitory computer readable medium storing instructions for utilizing an oro-motor device to activate an audio device including a language system, a sensing device, and an interface. The language system provides at least one of a first recommendation or a second recommendation, a sensor threshold and sensor readings, a duration of audio output, and specific parameters for audio output. Based upon a signal from the sensing device indicating that the sensor threshold has been exceeded, the language system sends an instruction to the audio device to emit an appropriate audio recording that conforms to the specific parameters for audio output for an assigned duration of audio output.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
