Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a UV light-cutting polyester composition capable of sufficiently cutting UV light, excellent in light resistance, and not discolored.
CONSTITUTION: Titanium dioxide particles having an average particle diameter of 0.01-0.1μm are dispersed and contained in the polyester composition. As the titanium dioxide particles, those particles whose surfaces are coated with a water-containing oxide are used. Further, when the titanium dioxide particles are dispersed in the polyester composition, a dispersion produced by dispersing the titanium dioxide particles in a liquid polyester is rapidly kneaded just before the polyester polymer is spun.
