Abstract:
PURPOSE: To offer a V-type Diesel engine capable of making the entire dimensions small by arranging a governor, a water pump, their driving mechanism as well as a fuel injection pump rationally and compactly.
CONSTITUTION: A fuel injection pump chamber 1c is provided between cylinders arranged in V shape. A water pump 40 is arranged on the side where a gear train 10 including a driving gear 14 of a fuel injection pump cam shaft 7 exist. A governor mechanism 30 is arranged on the side opposite to the side where the gear train 10 exists.
