PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a recombinant vector capable of being used as an immunogen in a vaccine recipe drawing out a protective immune response to Haemophilus influenzae by allowing the outer membrane protein of the H. influenzae to have a specific amino acid sequence.
SOLUTION: This recombinant vector encodes the outer membrane protein of Haemophilus influenzae including one or more antigenic determinant group of the outer membrane protein of the Haemophilus influenzae and contains a DNA sequence under control of an expression-controlling element. The outer membrane protein, has an amino acid sequence substantially shown by the formula. Preferably, the recombinant vector is pAA 152, pPX 167, pPX 168, pAA 130 or pPX 163, or a variant, a recombinant body or a derivative operated by a genetic engineering, thereof, and Haemophilus influenzae PBOMP-2 protein is produced by culturing a unicellular organism including the recombinant vector.
