Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a vacuum breaker which is constructed small with an approx imately fixed size regardless of the rated voltage.
CONSTITUTION: An insulative frame 8 accommodates a shutoff part equipped with a vacuum valve where a pair of electrodes capable of being contacted and separated are installed within a vacuum vessel and is installed on an operation functioning frame 10 on the back surface of the shutoff part, and thus a vacuum breaker is accomplished, which further includes a pair of main circuit conductors 2 located on the front surface of the shutoff part and capable of being connected with an external appliance and a conductor connection part 3 to be connected to at least one of the main circuit conductors 2 and installed in the shutoff part, wherein the shutoff part, conductor connection part 3, and main circuit conductors 2 are made from an insulative material 13 in a single piece through a molding process.
