Abstract:
PURPOSE: To insulate the electrostatic capacity control mechanism of a vacuum capacitor from a live part.
CONSTITUTION: A vacuum capacitor is equipped with a fixed electrode 15 and a movable electrode 16, both of them arranged inside a vacuum vessel 10, an electrostatic capacity control screw 19 which changes the movable electrode 16 in crossing area with the fixed electrode 15 by displacing, and a screw receptacle 20 which supports the electrostatic capacity control screw 19 outside of the vacuum vessel 10, where the electrostatic capacity control screw 19 and the exposed part of the screw receptacle 20 are formed of fiber-reinforced plastic.
