Abstract:
To provide a vacuum-carburized component, suitable to the confirmation of the performance to the vacuum-carburization or a processing thereafter, a manufacturing method thereof, and a heat-treatment oil composition used for the method.
In the method for manufacturing the vacuum-carburized part, by which the processing is applied to the carburized surface with the vacuum-carburization; a colored film is formed on the surface of a vacuum-carburized work by applying a quenching with the heat-treatment oil blended with coloring additive. Successively, at least one portion of the colored film is made to remove by applying the processing to the portion formed with the colored film.
