Abstract:
To provide a vacuum casting apparatus which accurately detects a capturing state of molten metal residues before clogging by the molten metal residues occurs, is capable of maintenance work without stopping casting molding by identifying a part where the molten metal residues are captured, and stably obtains a cast article of high quality which has no casting defect caused by gas or the air while securing productivity.SOLUTION: A vacuum casting apparatus includes: an injection sleeve inside which molten metal is supplied; a suction port provided for the injection sleeve; a suction route which vacuum suctions the air inside the injection sleeve from the suction port; a vacuum suction device connected to an exit side of the suction route; a capturing part provided in the middle of the suction route, for capturing molten metal residues included in gas; and a capturing detection part detecting that the molten metal residues have been captured.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
