PURPOSE: To obtain a vacuum casting metallic mold restraining pressurizing loss or shortening gas venting time by arranging a cooling means in a gas venting runner and quickly solidifying molten metal with the gas venting runner part.
CONSTITUTION: The cooling means 15 is arranged to the part near a cavity 3 in the gas venting runner 11 and desirably, in the lower die 2. The cooling means 15 has e.g. an outside pipe 10 and an inside pipe 17 so as to cool the mold part near the gas venting runner 11 by feeding the cooling water from the inside pipe 17 and flowing out through a space between the inside pipe 17 and the outside pipe 10. At the time of filling up the molten metal into the cavity 3, the molten metal invaded into the gas venting runner 11 is quickly solidified by cooling, and at the time of pressurizing the molten metal in the cavity 3 with a pressurizing pin 13, it can be prevented that the molten metal invades into the gas venting runner 11.
