The vacuum cleaner collects dust on the floor surface and has: a dust collector for collecting dust sucked from the floor surface; and the case which is provided with a plurality of first rotary members that are composed of spheres and protrude from below and a plurality of second rotary members that are composed of spheres and protrude from sideways and incorporates a duct collecting machine. The case is not abutted on the floor surface in the state in which three or more first rotary members are abutted on the floor surface or in the state in which two or more first rotary members and one or more second rotary member are abutted on the floor surface.
