Abstract:
To provide a vacuum cleaner capable of safely deodorizing and killing bacteria by effectively putting a photocatalyst into action even during normal service conditions of the cleaner without requiring any special devices or the like for maintaining deodorizing and antibacterial effects.
A photocatalyst exhaust filter 102 formed by application of a photocatalyst is placed in the exhaust port part of a vacuum cleaner. Further, an exhaust filter cover part 101 is formed as a transparent plastic part to efficiently transmit external light therethrough without mounting a light source in a cleaner body 701 in particular, thus allowing the photocatalyst exhaust filter 102 to exhibits its photocatalyst function.
