To provide a suction port body easily reduced in size for a vacuum cleaner.

In the substantial center of the back part in a lower case 21 of a case body 24 sectioning a suction chamber 31 opening a suction port 30 on the lower face and housing a rotational cleaning body 67, a recessed cutout part 38 is arranged. A pair of housing parts 27, 27 protruding from both sides of the cutout part 38 and journalling a driven rear wheel 47 are protruded in the rear part of the lower case 21. Deformation is applied so as to widen a clearance between the housing parts 27 and 27, and the both end parts of an axle 48 for the driven rear wheel 47 are respectively inserted into shaft supporting holes 46, 46 in the housing parts 27 and 27 for journalling the driven rear wheel 47. Inside the case body 24, a connection tube part, in which the rear end part is positioned in the cutout part 38 while the front end part is spread toward the suction chamber 31, is arranged. A joint part is arranged in the rear end part of the connection tube part freely rotationally, and in assembly of the communication tube, the front end part of the communication tube part is journalled to the joint part for allowing vertical rotation of the end part connected to an extension tube. In this way, the communication tube can be mounted on the front side from the back face of the case body 24 without any interference with the case body 24, and consequently reduction in size can be realized.
