Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner and a suction port assembly capable of adjusting the length of a connecting pipe by a simple operation and capable of fixing the length.
SOLUTION: This vacuum cleaner and a suction port assembly are composed of a vacuum cleaner body 100, a suction hose 200, a hand side handle 300, a connecting pipe 400 and a suction port body 500. Then, the connecting pipe 400 is composed of a first pipe body 420 attachable to the hand side handle 300 and a second pipe body 440 having one end slidably connected to the other one end of the first pipe body 420 and the other one end connected to the suction port body 500. The first pipe body 420 is provided with a fixing means 402 for fixing sliding of the second pipe body 440 and a second transmission means for operating the fixing means 402, the hand side handle 300 is provided with a switch 301 for releasing the fixing means 402 and a first transmission means for transmitting operation of the switch 301, the first transmission means and the second transmission means are connected by connecting the hand side handle 300 and the connecting pipe 400, and a fixing state of the fixing means 402 is released by operation of the switch 301.
