Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a low-priced and highly reliable multistage centrifugal compressor and impellers thereof by manufacturing impellers in different stages by varying only the height of the blade from the fundamental shape of the blade.
CONSTITUTION: A plurality of blades 2c are disposed approximately at equal pitches on a periphery between a core 2a and a side plate 2b. The shape of the blade of the impeller 2 of a multistage centrifugal compressor mounted on a rotary shaft 1 is not changed but only the height of the blade is changed, and different impellers of the core 2a, the side plate 3b, and the blade 3c are formed. In which case, since the blade 3c and the blade 2c are molded by one and the same press mold, the shape of the blade 3c is the same as that of a part of the blade shape of the blade 2c.
