To provide a vacuum cleaner preventing falling of dust from a dust collecting part when detaching the dust collecting part from a cleaner body and improving the dust collecting performance.
The cleaner body 10 is provided with an electric blower 11 blowing a suction air and the dust collecting part 12 communicated with a suction port of the electric blower 11. The dust collecting part 12 is detachably constituted with the cleaner body 10 and, at least, the upper part of the outer shell of the dust collecting part forms the outer shell of the cleaner body 10. An air suction part 24 allowing the inflow of the suction air is provided in an approximately upper part of the outer shell of the dust collecting part 12 forming the outer shell of the cleaner body 10.
