To provide a vacuum cleaner capable of suppressing the decline of the generation amount of ozone for deodorizing exhaust odor, improving the deodorizing effect of the exhaust odor by the ozone and safely managing the ozone.
An ozone generator 26 is attached to a blower case 18 for housing a motor-driven blower 19. Generally, since the ozone generation amount of the ozone generator 26 increases when the ambient temperature of the ozone generator 26 becomes high, the ozone generation amount can be increased by heat generated by the motor-driven blower 19, that is the decline of the generation amount of the ozone can be suppressed. In addition, by doubly surrounding the ozone generator 26 by an inner case 25 and a case body 4 and respectively sealing the joint part of the case body 4 and the inner case 25 by ozone-resistant packing 30 and packing 34, the ozone is surely prevented from leaking to the outside of a machine and the ozone can be safely managed.
