This vacuum cleaner includes a dust separation part provided to support a suction electric motor part on a lower side, and communicating with the motor-driven blower, a cylindrical dust collection part provided to support the suction electric motor part on a lower side, and for storing dust separated in the dust separation part, and a ring-like base block for supporting the dust collection part, and provided with wheels for moving, the base block is provided with a support member elevated/lowered by an elevation mechanism, and the support part has a suspension means for suspending the dust collection part, to prevent the whole cleaner from being vibrated.
