Abstract:
To provide a vacuum cleaner for securing high safety by rapidly stopping an electric blower when blockage of a suction air passage to the electric blower is estimated.SOLUTION: A vacuum cleaner 1 includes: an electric blower 8 for generating suction negative pressure; an air quantity detection section 58 for detecting an air quantity Q of air to be sucked by the electric blower 8; and a body control section 9 for controlling the electric blower 8. The body control section 9 discriminates a sudden decrease of an air quantity Q from a decrease other than that, and stops the electric blower 8 when an air quantity Q suddenly decreases within a predetermined time after the start of the electric blower 8 concerning the vacuum cleaner.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
