Abstract:
The present invention provides a small electric vacuum cleaner having a speed reduction mechanism. The electric vacuum cleaner includes a suction port portion that accommodates a rotating brush havinga rotating shaft in a horizontal direction, and a rotating brush motor that transmits a driving force to the rotating brush via the speed reduction mechanism. In the electric vacuum cleaner, the rotating brush motor is inclinedly disposed above the rotating shaft of the rotating brush. The lower end portion of the rotating brush motor is located below the upper end of the upper surface of the suction port portion.
