PURPOSE: To avoid influences of exhaust heat from a motor of temperature rise for improving reliability by installing an input control device, that controls the motor, in the main body of a vacuum cleaner, and a suction force setting device and a control circuit inside a hand grip where temperature rise is a little.
CONSTITUTION: Only an input control device 4 that controls a motor 5 is installed in a main body 50 of a vacuum cleaner. A control circuit 3 consists of a direct current power source 301, a dust detecting signal amplifier 302, and a suction force signal transmitter 303, and installed in a hose hand grip 70 in which a dust detector consisting of a light emitting device 101 and a light receiving device 102, and a suction force setting device 2 are located. The input control device 4 is arranged in a position where the cooling effect due to the rotation of a motor 5 influences upon it. By this construction described above, the control circuit 3 does not suffer the noise from the hose and is not influenced by the temperature rise due to the motor 5 in the main body 50 of the vacuum cleaner and by dispersion of carbon brush, because it is installed in the same place as that of the dust detector 1 and the suction force setting device 2 are located.
