To provide a vacuum cleaner of a noise-reduced type by fixing a motor of an electric blower as a component member of the vacuum cleaner, and restricting transmission of vibration of the motor to a main body case of the vacuum cleaner.
A vibration-proof support member 24 is composed of a spacer 28 and a cushion lower member 29. The spacer 28 is formed of hard material such as resin or iron, and the cushion lower member 29 is formed of material such as foam natural rubber similarly as a vibration-proof cushion 13. The spacer 28 is put to get in part of an outer circumference of the vibration-proof cushion 13. A contact surface of it may be flat, or have irregularities of slits. The spacer 28 is supported to be pressed by a motor support rib 27 on a base 30 of a lower case 2 through the cushion lower member 29. A structure comprising different hardnesses and materials comprising the vibration-proof cushion 13 of rubber, the spacer 28 of hard material such as polypropylene, the cushion lower member 29 of rubber, and the motor support rib 27 of hard material getting in contact with each other in this order is thus formed.
