PURPOSE: To encase plugs, which types differ, at approx, same depth, by mounting a stopper pin for pushing the plugs to the innermost side of a cord hole of a plug stopper, in a vacuum cleaner with a cord reel.

CONSTITUTION: An approx. square-shaped pulling-out hole 7 for pulling out a power cord 6 rolled into a cord reel is mounted to one portion of a rear surface of a body case 1 of a vacuum cleaner, and an approx. box-shaped cord encasing box 8 is incorporated to the hole 7. Projections 12 are each formed to both side-walls of the cord encasing box 8, and this cleaner is arranged in such a manner that a cord stopper 14 provided with grooves 13 connecting to the projections 12 can be installed by inserting the stopper from an upper portion while the stopper 14 can be divided into left and right portions and two stopper pins 20 can arbitrarily be mounted and demounted. Thus, this device can encase plugs 6', 6", which dimensions differ, into the encasing box 8 by mounting and demounting the stopper pins 20.
