Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a small-sized vacuum cleaner, using a filter shaped substantially in the form of a cone, which is advantageous in that its pressure loss is small and its filtering performance is excellent.
CONSTITUTION: A suction nozzle 2 is attached to dust collecting case 1, and a motor 11 for driving suction fan 13, etc. is placed in motor case 3 that is connected to the dust collecting case 1. In the case 1, a filter bag 16 shaped substantially in the form of a cone is positioned with its opening end being attached air-tightly to the joint portion of dust collecting case 1 and motor case 3. Cleaning of floors or the like can be performed effectively with a vacuum cleaner arranged as above.
