Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for controlling the flow of a fluid and/or air in a vacuum filter and to provide a means for ensuring the passing of air out of the vacuum filter in the case that a liquid, which may cause a hydrophobic filter to be clogged, appeares.
SOLUTION: A vent cap 10 includes an integrated, outwardly protruding tab 12. When a horizontal force is applied on the tab 12 to deform the vent cap 10, the vent cap 10 comes off a vacuum vent 8, allowing a gas to flow-in from the vacuum vent 8 and the internal pressure of a vacuum device 20 to increase. An operator can apply the pressure on the tab 12 by pushing the tab 12 by hand or finger.
