To provide a vacuum dryer of garbage which vacuum-dries the garbage in a rotary drum and can make up for the decrease of a stirring power and increase a heat transfer rate with the help of a heater fitted to a stirring blade.
This vacuum dryer of garbage comprises (1) the rotary drum 1 which has a garbage dumping/discharge port 2 arranged on one side and also, is rotatably supported by a rotary joint 3 connected with a vacuum pump P in the center of the other side, (2) the stirring blade 5, with a heater 4, fitted to the inner wall of the rotary drum 1, and (3) a vacuum suction means 7 which is arranged rotatably adjacent to the rotary joint 3 and has a suction port 6 always orientated to the inner top of the rotary drum 1 by an upward compulsive force.
