Abstract:
To provide a vacuum dryer capable of vacuum-drying a drying object using decompression means having low output in as short a time as in a case of using one having high output.SOLUTION: A dried container is decompressed by a vacuum pump, soy bean pulp therein is heated under vacuum, and its moisture is discharged therefrom as water vapor. As a result, the soy bean pulp is dried. The water vapor generated is liquified and recovered. An odor filter and silica gel are disposed at the inlet side of the vacuum pump to prevent the vacuum pump from sucking water. Since the drying object is uniformly heated with hot water and vacuum-dried, a relatively cheap vacuum pump that attains a low vacuum degree can be used. Water vapor is liquified by a cooler, and liquid water can be recovered. The recovered liquid can be reused. A plurality of kinds of liquid can be separately recovered.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
