Abstract:
To provide a vacuum furnace capable of reducing dispersion in a heating temperature of a processed item and attaining a uniform heating of the processed item.
There is provided a vacuum furnace in which opening segments of heating chambers 7a to 7c enclosed by thermal insulating walls 6 are provided with thermal insulating doors for opening or closing the opening segments, and heaters 21a to 21c for use in heating the processed items are arranged inside the thermal insulating walls 6. The furnace is provided with thermal insulating doors 8b, 8c having, as their composing material, thermal insulating material having a lower thermal conductivity than that of the thermal insulating material constituting the thermal insulating walls 6.
