Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve cooling performance of a vacuum furnace used for an article to be processed to a high temperature.
CONSTITUTION: A processing chamber 4 surrounded by a heat resistant heat insulation wall 3 is formed in a furnace body 1 having a pressure resistant sealing structure, and an electric heater 7 is provided on the inner surface of the processing chamber 4. Further, a pair of vents 8, 19 are provided in opposite wall surfaces of the processing chamber 4 so as to be opened and closed by doors 9, 20. Furthermore, a heat resistant fan 15 formed with carbon fiber reinforced carbon composite material is provided in the vent 8.
