PURPOSE: To carry out vacuum exhaust in an economical exhaust time with increasing the number of exhaust ports in a vacuum heat insulating body whose heat insulating space is filled with a fiber board.

CONSTITUTION: In a vacuum heat insulting body 1 whose heat insulating space sealed with a metallic cover material 4 is filled with fiber boards 5 to make it vacuum, a fiber board 5 is disposed so that the arrangement direction of fiber 8 may meet an exhaust route. A filter 6 for prevention of fiber waste from scattering is brought into surface contact with one end in the fiber arrangement direction of the fiber board 5 perpendicularly to the arrangement direction of the fiber 8. The exhaust route is communicated with an exhaust port 7 through a filter 6.
