Abstract:

To provide a vacuum heat insulating core material capable of obtaining high rigidity and enabled to be manufactured without requiring heating.

The vacuum heat insulating material 10 is formed by coating a vacuum heat insulating core material 13 with a coating material 15 formed of a laminated film and by sealing the inside of the coating material 15, reducing the inner pressure thereof. As the vacuum heat insulating core material 13, a material obtained by a method including following steps is used: a step by needle-punching a material formed by laminating non-woven fabric surface materials 12 on each of two surfaces of a glass wool 11, which is formed by laminating glass short fibers in the thickness direction, opposite to each other in a direction nearly vertical to the thickness direction so as to compress the glass wool 11 and the surface materials 12 in the thickness direction; and a step by twisting the warp fibers so as to unify them. With this structure, the vacuum heat insulating core material 13 having high rigidity can be obtained. Since heating is unnecessary in manufacture, consumption of energy (electricity or the like) for heating is eliminated, and the discharge amount of carbon dioxide considered as a cause of global warming can be reduced.
