This vacuum heat insulating material application member is constituted by fixing the vacuum heat insulating material obtained by covering a core material 4 with a jacketing material, decompressing and sealing the inside of the jacketing material, and thermally sealing the opposite jacketing materials at an outer periphery of the core material 4, to a mounted member through a fixing member. End faces of the heat-sealed portions 1 of the jacketing material of the vacuum heat insulating material is covered by a protecting member 2, the protecting member 2 has a hole portion 3, and the vacuum heat insulating material is fixed to the mounted member at the hole portion 3 through the fixing member, thus the vacuum heat insulating material can be fixed without displacing from a mounting position, and being curved and bent in the member.
