Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum heat-insulating material that can control a weight ratio of short fibers, an average fiber angle and its standard deviation and has excellent heat-insulating performance, also provide a heat-insulating box using the vacuum heat-insulating material, and a method for manufacturing the vacuum heat-insulating material.SOLUTION: This invention provides a vacuum heat-insulating material (1) equipped with a core material (2) formed of a fiber aggregate, and an outer cover material (3) covering the core material (2), with the interior of the outer cover material (3) being sealed under reduced pressure. The core material (2) is formed such that the weight ratio of fibers having fiber length of 1.85 mm or less is 11 wt% or less of the core material (2).
