To provide a vacuum heat insulating material which has a few limitations for the shape of an object to be applied, for example, which is applicable to the side surface of a cone.
The vacuum heat insulating material 10 is configured by covering a plurality of glass fiber core materials 11 with a gas barrier film 12, the glass fiber core materials 11 being formed so as to have a nearly sectorial shape having a thickness of nearly 5 mm, and by decompressing the inside of the film 12. The core materials 11 are radially arranged with respect to one point such that a brokenly curved lines can be formed along the radial lines of the radial arrangement of the cores 11 in the portions located between neighboring cores 11, and further the films 12 located between neighboring cores are thermally welded so as to arrange the respective cores of a plurality of the cores 11 within the independent spaces.
