To provide a vacuum insulation material capable of reducing heat loss from a through-hole section without necessitating sufficient seal length in order to secure secular reliability.
Eight sets of right-angled isosceles triangle-shaped core materials 1 are arranged into a through-hole of the core material 1 having an approximately squared through-hole in a nearly center at a latticed shape separated in designated intervals so as to form four folding lines such as a vertical line, a horizontal line, and a slanting line with 45 degrees at a portion located between the adjacent core materials 1. A heat deposition section 2 of an outer cover material is arranged on a periphery of the core material 1 so that the plurality of core materials 1 are respectively located on independent spaces. Approximately squared perforations 4 are arranged along a near bisector of the heat deposition section 2 on the heat deposition section 2 located between eight sets of the right-angled isosceles triangle-shaped core materials 1 and the core materials 1 having the approximately squared through-hole in a nearly center through-hole. The through-hole can be formed by folding on the perforations 4 so that a cutting section 3 is arranged along a near bisector of the heat deposition section 2 on the heat deposition section 2 along two diagonals of the nearly squared perforations 4.
