To provide a vacuum packaging device wherein the vacuum degree of a vacuum chamber is not reduced at the time of transferring from an deaerating process to a sealing process.
This vacuum packaging device has a vacuum pump VP which is connected to a vacuum chamber with a pipe, and a sealing device, in order to perform a vacuum packaging of a bag-shaped member in the vacuum chamber, and has a seal cylinder assembly in order to operate the sealing device, a deaerating valve SV2 which makes the vacuum chamber deaerate to a specified vacuum degree by opening at the time of deaerating process, and a seal valve SV3 which makes the seal cylidner assembly be vacuumized by a vacuum pump by closing at the time of sealing process which continues from the deaerating process. Also, to the deaerating valve SV2 and the seal valve SV3, a constantly closed cotact X21 and a constantly opened contact X23 of a relay X2 which imparts a time difference between the opening of the deaerating valve and the closing of the seal valve, are respectively connected.
