PURPOSE: To provide a vacuum packing device wherein, when a material impregnated with seasoning soup is subjected to vacuum packing of deep drawing type, seasoning soup is uniformly impregnated at high efficiency and high speed processing can be achieved at sufficient deaeration rate and further, when the material to be packed is aburage, opening property thereof can be improved.

CONSTITUTION: A soup impregnation unit 5 is provided in a vacuum packing device 1. The unit 5 includes a soup impregnation mechanism 11 having a vertically movable press means 16 in an airtight processing chamber 20. And while a lower film vessel C loaded with seasoning soup and a material to be packed M is located in the chamber 20 and said chamber 20 is being deaerated to a predetermined reduced pressure, the material M is allowed to freely expand and thereafter the material M is pressed by the means 16 to compress it and further air blow is performed in the chamber 20, following which the pressing is released to take out the vessel C out of the chamber 20.
