Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve the productivity of a generator by extending the rear bracket of the generator to form a casing, installing a cylindrical housing in the casing and containing the rotor of a vacuum pump, thereby reducing the weight of the pump section. CONSTITUTION:The rear bracket 6a of a generator is extended, and a casing 6b is formed. A cylindrical housing 15 is mounted inside the casing 5b, and a suction chamber 17 and an exhaust chamber 19 are formed between the casing 6b and the housing 15. A pump rotor 20 having vanes 22 is contained in the housing 15, and is mounted on a rotational shaft 1. A common cover 23 having a suction inlet 12 and an exhaust outlet 14 of the same direction is mounted on the hole of the end faces of the casing 6b and the housing 15, thereby forming a vacuum pump.
