Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply oil always discharged from a vacuum pump to a chain, eliminate the prior art oil jet, reduce the number of component elements of an engine, improve a degree of freedom of layout around the chain and further improve lubrication of the chain in a vacuum pump and the engine equipped with this vacuum pump.SOLUTION: A housing (14) of a vacuum pump (9) is constituted in such a way that a base end part (22A) extends along a longitudinal direction (X) of an opening edge (24) so as to collect air containing oil discharged out of a discharging passage (23) and discharge it and an extremity end part (22B) is provided with a vertical wall part (22) having the same height as that of a stopper (31).
