Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum pump that can be safely moved and can be easily stopped at a predetermined position.SOLUTION: A vacuum pump 30 according to the present invention comprises: a pump body 34; a pump motor 33 for driving the pump body 34; front wheels 35a and rear wheels 35b for moving the vacuum pump 30; a mechanical brake 38 configured to brake the rear wheels 35b; and a brake wire 37 and a lever 36 configured to be able to release the braking of the rear wheels 35b. The mechanical brake 38 is configured to brake the rear wheels 35b except when the braking of the rear wheels 35b is released by the brake wire 37 and the lever 36.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
