Abstract:
To certainly execute automatic recognition of an accessory during the operation of a vacuum pump, even if different kinds of signals, especially analog signals or digital signals can be supplied to an interface of a vacuum pump.SOLUTION: A vacuum pump has an interface for connecting the vacuum pump to an accessory device, a controller connected to the interface, and a noise removal device connected to the interface and the controller. The controller is configured to recognize at least two different kinds of signals to be input in the interface, and to selectively actuate the noise removal device depending on the recognized kind of the signal to be input in the interface.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
