Abstract:
To provide a vacuum pump capable of stably and continuously operate for a long time, by using a general-purpose battery on the market.SOLUTION: A vacuum pump 10 is composed of a pump body 11; a motor 12 driving the pump body; and a power supply portion 13 supplying power supply to the motor. The power supply portion has a first battery 14 mounted to a first slot 16, and a second battery 15 mounted to a second slot 17. A third battery 14a and a fourth battery 15a are reserved batteries. When a battery residual quantity of the first battery is decreased to below a predetermined threshold value, then the power supply is switched from the second battery to the third battery, and the second battery of the second slot is switched to the fourth battery during the use of the third battery.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
