To provide a vacuum pump low in vibration and noise by closely fixing a large number of suction pipes and discharge pipes to a cone-shaped container to be rotated, assembling the cone-shaped container on a fixed switch valve in an enclosed container in which the liquid is stored, rotating the container, and intermittently flowing the liquid.
When the liquid is poured from a water feed valve 18 of an enclosed container 1, the liquid enters a suction pipe 7 which is closely attached to a bottom plate 6 of a cone-shaped container 2 through a fixed switch valve 9. When the cone-shaped container 2 is rotated by a motor, the liquid in the suction pipe 7 flows toward a discharge pipe 8. The liquid enters the suction pipe 7 when the liquid passes through a through hole of the fixed switch valve 9, while the liquid does not flow when the liquid passes through the space between the through holes, and the vacuum is generated. The gas in a vacuum container to be connected to a gas suction port 10 through a gas suction pipe 12 is successively sucked to generate vacuum, and the gas discharged outside the cone-shaped container 2 is discharged into the atmosphere through a gas discharge pipe 11 of the enclosed container 1.
