Abstract:

PURPOSE: To simplify the construction and reduce the manufacture process of the vacuum type solar energy collector by a method wherein an outer tube having a heat collecting pipe inserted therethrough is attached intimately at the diameter contracted part at one end to an opening part of a vacuum sealed device and an end plate is sealed in the presence of heat to the diameter contracted part while the inside of the outer tube is being evacuated, which eliminates the need of providing a conventional evacuation pipe.

CONSTITUTION: In the manufacture, a bellows 5 fixed with the heat collecting pipe 6 is jointed to one end 1a of the outer tube 1. Next, the end plate 3 coated at its flange part 3b with glass wax 4 is covered over the opening part at the other end of the outer tube 1, and the diameter contracted part 3a of the outer tube 1 is attached to the heat collecting pipe 6. Subsequently, the diameter contracted part 2 side of the outer tube 1 is secured sealingly to the opening part 11 of the vacuum sealed device 8, a sloped part 2a of the outer tube 1 is attached intimately to a packing 10 of a vacuum chamber 9, and then the vacuum chamber 9 and outer tube 1 are evacuated up to a predetermined vacuum degree. Thereafter the galss wax 4 is melted by a heater 13 to seal up between the diameter contracted part 2 and end plate 3 of the outer tube 1, thereby completing the heat collector the outer tube 1 thereof is evacuated properly.
