Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for recovering valuable metal with which in a process including an oxidizing treatment of a metallic composite with roasting and a fusing treatment thereafter, such as a recovering process of the valuable metal from the metallic composite in waste battery of a lithium-ion battery, etc., the treating efficiency of the oxidizing treatment is improved and the treating cost is reduced by saving the total quantity of the additional material to be required in the whole process, in comparison with the conventional method.SOLUTION: When the oxidizing treatment is applied to the metallic composite by roasting, a granular sticking-preventive agent containing flux is loaded on a loading surface of a vessel for roasting, and the metallic composite is roasted and oxidized in a state that the metallic composite is placed on the loaded granular sticking-preventive agent. In the fusing step successively applied after the oxidizing step, the oxidized metallic composite and a part or the whole of the granular sticking-preventive agent are charged into the same fusing furnace and fused.
