Abstract:
To provide a valuable article storage management system that facilitates storage management for valuable articles of patients in hospital to reduce psychological burdens on patients in hospital.SOLUTION: The valuable article storage management system includes: worn tools worn by respective patients and provided with patient management codes for identifying patients; a housing part disposed in a hospital room and to which an electric lock is attached; and a server having a storage unit in which the patient management codes and room numbers of hospital rooms where patients provided with the patient management codes stay are associated and stored. A reader for reading the patient management codes provided on the worn tools is attached to the housing part. On the basis of information read by the reader, the valuable article storage management system checks the room number of a hospital room where the reader is arranged and the patient management code with information stored in the server, and unlocks the electric lock of the housing part on which the reader is attached when determining that the room number and the patient management code match with the information stored in the server.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
