Abstract:
To provide a valve drive device which attains smoother movement and achieves a reduction in manufacturing costs.SOLUTION: A valve device has: a stem 40 which is held in a manner that the stem 40 can rotate around a predetermined axis Ct and has a groove part 41 including a cam groove 42 on an outer peripheral surface; a movable member 50 which is inhibited from rotating around the predetermined axis and guided so as to move forward and rearward in a predetermined axis direction; and balls 60 which are held by a holding recessed part formed at the movable member and the groove part of the stem and move in the groove part 41 in conjunction with rotation of the stem 40. The groove part 41 have lock grooves 43, 44, which are formed continuing into the cam groove 42 and releasably lock a rotation position of the stem 40, at both end parts of the cam groove 42.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2A
