Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve assembly in which a flow of fluid is hardly hindered when opening a passage.SOLUTION: A valve assembly 1 comprises a valve seat 21 having a tapered valve-seat side contact part, and a poppet valve 3 having a valve shaft 30 and a valve body 31 which is continuous to the valve shaft 30, and has a tapered valve-body side contact part which is substantially parallel to the valve-seat side contact part. The valve-body side contact part closes a direction in which the valve-body side contact part is seated on the valve-seat side contact part. The valve body 31 has a diameter-contracted part which is disposed in the closing direction of the valve-body side contact part, and continuous to an end of the closing direction of the valve body 31. An inclination angle θ2 of the diameter-contracted part with respect to an axial direction of the valve shaft 30 is larger than an inclination angle θ1 of the valve-body side contact part with respect to the axial direction of the valve shaft 30.
